一般社団法人日本肢体不自由者卓球協会が監修し、「パラ卓球というスポーツの魅力をより多くの人に知ってほしい」という想いを込めて作成したリーフレットです。
本書は全国の小中学校の学級文庫や図書館に配布されます。
型にとらわれない自由な発想のラリー、驚異的なスピード、緻密な戦略といったパラ卓球の奥深さを、日本、そして世界へと発信します。
私たちはパラ卓球を通じて多様性を尊重し、誰もが個性や能力を最大限に発揮して活躍できる「共生社会」の実現を目指しています。

Supervised by the Japan Para Table Tennis Association, this leaflet was created with a heartfelt wish to share the true appeal of Para Table Tennis with a wider audience.
Distributed to elementary and junior high schools nationwide, it showcases the depth of the sport—from creative rallies and incredible speed to sophisticated strategies. Through Para Table Tennis, we aim to promote respect for diversity and strive to realize an inclusive society where everyone can embrace their individuality and reach their full potential.

パラ卓球選手は、だれよりも自由に卓球をする。不自由だからこそ辿り着いたプレースタイルで、どんな常識も打ち破っていく。そんな彼らの強さを、パラ卓球というスポーツの魅力を、多くの人に知ってほしい。そのような想いからこのパラ卓球台とコミュニケーションツールは生まれました。

It is our heartfelt desire to share their strength and the true essence of this sport with the world. This is why this Para Table Tennis table and this communication tool were born.

We have brought to life a unique table that embodies the individuality of Para athletes. Based on interviews and sketches, we recreated the world of table tennis as they see it.

Simply standing before this table will bring you face-to-face with the unique challenges each athlete confronts. And in that moment, you will realize: there is no wall that cannot be overcome.
